Mission

• Improve the way we produce and use energy in Charlotte by conservation, energy efficiency, renewables, transportation, buildings, and land-use planning.
• Work in partnership with other Town groups such as Sustainable Charlotte, the Conservation Commission, the Planning Commission, and Charlotte Central School.
• Promote energy education and awareness.

Meetings

The Energy Committee generally meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m., but sometimes we have to change the date, so please check the town online Meeting Calendar or keep an eye out on Front Porch Forum.
